This Disclaimer explains the limits of the information and tools provided by Mirantly Technologies Inc. ("Mirantly," "we," "us," or "our"). Mirantly helps you understand and organize your immigration journey. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal or immigration advice. Please read this alongside our Terms of Service.

1. Information, not legal advice

Mirantly is a technology platform that provides educational information and software tools to help you understand immigration pathways and organize your own process. Everything you read or receive through the Services is general information.

Mirantly is not a law firm and is not a licensed immigration consultancy. We do not provide legal advice or immigration advice or representation, and using the Services does not create a lawyer-client or consultant-client relationship.

For advice about your specific situation, consult an authorized representative, such as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or a licensed lawyer, who can be retained to advise on your individual case.

2. We are not the government

Mirantly is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Government of Canada, any provincial or territorial government, or any other immigration authority.

Nothing you do in Mirantly submits anything to a government, and no result you see in Mirantly reflects a decision by any authority.

3. Sourced from official rules, but verify before you act

Mirantly is built to read and reference official immigration sources so you can get clear answers backed by the rules that actually apply. Our goal is to ground every answer in the official source rather than guesswork.

Even so, immigration rules change frequently, sources are updated without notice, and no automated system is perfect. Information in the Services may not reflect the most recent change at the moment you read it.

Before you make a decision or submit anything to a government authority, confirm the current requirement directly with the relevant official source or an authorized representative. Do not rely on the Services as your only source of truth for a decision that matters.

4. No guarantee of outcomes

We do not promise, guarantee, or warrant any immigration result, approval, status, permit, score, or outcome. Immigration decisions are made solely by the relevant government authorities, including IRCC and provincial bodies, applying their own rules and discretion.

Eligibility checks, score estimates, simulations, timelines, and recommendations produced by the Services are informational estimates only. Your actual eligibility and results depend on the full facts of your case and the decisions of the authorities involved.

5. Scores and eligibility estimates

Where the Services show you a Comprehensive Ranking System score, a program eligibility indication, or a simulated scenario result, that number is an estimate produced by our systems from the information you gave us.

  • It is not an official assessment and it is not produced by IRCC.
  • It depends entirely on the accuracy and completeness of what you entered.
  • Program rules, point allocations, and cut-off scores change, and an estimate can be out of date.

Before you act on a score, confirm it using IRCC's own published tools and criteria. If our number and the official one differ, the official one is correct and we want to hear about it. Write to support@mirantly.com so we can look into it.

6. AI-assisted guidance

Some features use artificial intelligence to help summarize rules, answer questions, and organize your next steps. AI can make mistakes, miss context, or misread an edge case.

  • Treat AI-generated answers as a helpful starting point, not a final ruling on your situation.
  • When an answer matters for a real decision or submission, verify it against the official source or with an authorized representative.
  • Share only what you are comfortable providing for the purpose of receiving guidance.

7. Professionals on the marketplace

Where marketplace features are available, they can help you connect with independent professionals. These professionals are not employed by Mirantly. They are responsible for their own advice, services, and compliance with the rules that govern them.

We confirm a consultant's registration status on the public register maintained by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, or the equivalent register for their profession, before their profile goes live, and we re-check it periodically. That verification is a status check, not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality. You can look up any consultant's status yourself on the College's public register.

Mirantly does not provide the professional services itself and is not responsible for the advice or work delivered by an independent professional. Any engagement you enter into is between you and that professional.

8. Features in development

We are actively building and improving Mirantly. Some features are labelled as coming soon, in preview, or in testing, and their behaviour may change as we develop them.

Where a feature is not yet fully available, we aim to label it clearly. The presence of a planned or preview feature is not a promise that it will work in a particular way, or that it will be available on a particular date.

9. External links and third-party content

The Services link to government websites, third-party tools, and other external resources for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.

A link is not an endorsement. When you leave the Services, the terms and privacy practices of the destination site apply.

10. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the decisions you make and the information you submit to any authority. The Services are designed to help you understand and organize your journey, not to make decisions on your behalf.

Use the Services as one tool among others, alongside official sources and, where appropriate, qualified professional advice.

11. Changes to this disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Services.
